Sometimes I wish we weren’t friends for a while just so I didn’t have to see how fine you’re doing without me in your life.

You know how happy you made me feel?

You made me feel like I was needed. 

That’s something that every person could hope to live for.

You made me feel like that I had found a purpose in my hopeless life.

I thought that if I could just make you happy and just be there for you,

then maybe, just maybe, I could have done something right.

You made me feel like a fisherman out in the boat all day who finally got a bite.

Reeling you in, you push, I pull, you run, I chase,

all that fight I put up and when I caught you and saw your grace,

I had actually found someone to have.

But when I turn my back, and I let you do your thing, I turn around and find out, 

that you’re the fish that wasn’t meant for me.

You went back flopping to the sea because you just can’t be held down. 

You love the freedom, and that’s why it hurts knowing you’re better off without me.

The consequences of being optimistic.

When you think about everything being the best it can be, life seems good right?

Wrong

Once you find out things arent gonna turn out the way you plan, it hurts.

Feela like your definition of good was redefined to bad. And all the rainbows and butterflies you once knew collapse down before your eyes and burst into the flames of the inferno, as the devil rips your heart out and roasts it over the burning fire like a marshmallow
